Living in the Pacific NW
Aug 09This site was created to help individuals like you and me.
I went through a year of anguish, frustration, and FEAR at the thought of losing my home.
My home is everything to me. It is a place of Love, Refuge, Community, and the core of what I stand for. My family and friends dwell here.
What more is there?
Foreclosure Help: How Mike Stopped My Foreclosure
Aug 03I tried for nearly a year to reason with my lender, but they wouldn’t listen. Instead, they tried to take our home.
It’s Sierra’s Home, Too
Aug 01Although I call her my dog, she really belongs to all of us in the family. We have had her for six years now.
This beautiful home we have is Sierra’s home too!
Oh Great Spirit
Jul 31Let your voice whisper righteousness in our ear through the West Wind in the late of the day. Let us be comforted with love for our Brothers and Sisters with no war. Let us hold good health mentally and physically to solve our problems, and accomplish great things for future generations of life. Let us be sincere to ourselves and our youth, and make the world a better place to live.”
HSBC Is “Notorious”
Jul 22Interesting story (click link above): HSBC says No to Making Home Affordable Modification Plan.
As I am researching all the interesting information on home loan modificaitons, I can easily see now what I was up against. It appears that this servicer chooses not to cooperate, as quoted below from the website above:
How to Contact Mike?
Jul 03Mike L. stopped my foreclosure with only minutes to spare.
Yes, I was able to save my home. Thank you so much, Mike! You are my hero!
If you’re in foreclosure and need a pro to negotiate a loan modification, he can probably help you.
This is My Story . . .
Jun 08My difficulties started shortly after my divorce was final in March of 2008.
I was awarded our primary residence, along with a cash settlement.
Forbearance Agreement!
May 24It’s all signed off and my foreclosure nightmare is OVER!
HSBC, has agreed to a forbearance (which I now hold in my hands).
Barrage of Letters
Jan 27What do you do?
I’d received the notice of default, and a notice of foreclosure from my bank. The crazy part about this whole ordeal is it’s public information. This was news to me, but I learned.
I’ve Hired Liberty Law in CA to Stop My Foreclosure
Jan 10As a Notary Public, I get called on quite frequently to help firms or credit agencies set up trial loan modifications with their clients.
I have done several of these calls for Liberty Law Firm, in California. I worked with a very nice lawyer there. We’ve become fast friends.
It occurred to me that if they can help other people with their loan modifications, why not me, I need help bad!
Getting “Jacked Around”
Nov 01Here’s my letter to HSBC expressing my frustration with their Loan Modification Department.
After many attempts to put something together that worked for everybody, all I ever got from them was one form letter after the next.
It seemed that no matter how I tried, they weren’t interested in helping me and were content to just go through the motions to give the appearance they were processing my application . . .
HSBC Modification Application Letter Arrives in Mail
Apr 25I takes a couple weeks, but today I receive the letter I was waiting for from HSBC Default Resolution Department, or is it Loss Mitigation/Home Retention Department.
I don’t know. In working with this corporation, nothing has been consistent or reliable up to this point. This whole mod program is new to everyone.
